With a hardwood wear layer in the timber species of your choice, these engineered floors share most of the qualities found in our range of solid hardwood flooring. The design of this type of flooring means that it can be installed in demanding environments where solid flooring would not be appropriate, such as over underfloor heating and in conservatories. The design and construction of these boards mean that they can also be extremely wide. The range includes heat treated Thermo Treated Oaks, sensual Textured finishes and Vintage style antique alternatives. These wide planks can be fitted by either floating or gluing down and are suitable to lay over underfloor heating. This range consists of 14mm thick engineered boards with a 4mm hardwood wear layer, 20mm thick boards with a 6mm hardwood wear layer and 22mm thick boards with a 6mm or 8mm hardwood wear layer.
