Hardwood decking is available to order in a wide variety of species, such as Massaranduba (FSC), Ipe, Red Balau, Yellow Balau, Greenheart (Progress Verified) and Opepe (Progress Verified)
Deck boards are available is available in a standard range of profiles, which have a finely ridged surface (Known as ‘Reeded’) for drainage in wet weather and for extra grip when walking on the deck. There are also two reversible boards that have a deeper grooved (Known as being ‘Castle-ated’) profile on one face. This profile is ideal for heavy-duty decks or for use on inclined walkways.
These hardwood decking boards are very durable and do not normally require finishing. If left unfinished they will eventually ‘Silver down’ in colour. Appearance can, however, be enhanced using modern decking finishes. For optimum protection and performance use the Osmo decking oils which are kept in stock at Woodstock.
