used widely throughout Europe for furniture and shopfitting. Also popular
with bedroom and kitchen furniture manufacturers and as a flooring choice
because it finishes beautifully. It presents a lovely figured pattern
on its face grain.
You must expect some sap colour and gum pockets (inherent with this species).
Cherry is generally not available as a wide timber, this is due to the amount of sap present in boards over 6” wide.
Stocked thickness 1”, 1 ¼”, 1 ½”, Thicker (2”, 2 ½”, & 3”) boards are available to order. (Usually within 3 working days).
