Uses: A Mahogany type timber for furniture, joinery, shopfitting, doors,
flooring, windows and conservatories. A class one hardwood.
Comments: The most popular of all our redwood Mahogany type timbers.
A good number of our customers are now using Sapele as an alternative
to Brazilian Mahogany - mainly because
of its price advantage.
Stocked thickness 1”, 1 ¼”, 1 ½”, 2” wide (10”+) & thicker (2 ½”, 3”&4”) boards are available to order. (Usually within 3 working days).
