Woodstock carries a range of clear softwoods to meet the requirements of the Joinery trade and the local marine industry. Our Joinery Quality Unsorted Redwood is superb for any windows, doors, and staircases due to it being graded so that there are fewer knots and clear grain.
We also keep clear and better timbers such as Southern Yellow Pine, Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar, Larch and a small amount of Sitka Spruce. The Fir and Spruce families of timbers are naturally clear and straight grained making them ideal for components within in the marine industry.
Western Red Cedar is becoming more popular as an external cladding material. We can offer this pre machined in a tongue and groove, and shiplap moulding. We can then machine corner profiles and finishing trims from our stock of Western Red Cedar to add the finishing touches to the cladding.
